Tourlestrane through to Leo Kenny Cup final

Tourlestrane are through to the Connacht Leo Kenny Cup final.

They beat Galway’s Mountbellew/Moylough by 2-9 to 0-5 in yesterday evening’s semi-final at the Connacht GAA Centre in Bekan.

They will now face the winners of this evening’s second semi-final involving Mayo’s Aghamore and Galway’s Killannin.

That game is in Headford at 8pm.

Aghamore beat Sligo’s St Mary’s in last week’s quarter-finals.

Tourlestrane are already planning for a final this coming weekend, when they face rivals Tubbercurry in the Fureys Coaches Senior League final in Bunninadden at 6.30pm on Sunday.

Meanwhile, in the Sligo U16 Championship last night, Geevagh/St Michael’s and Eastern Harps played out a 4-11 apiece draw in round one.
