Rovers U19s and U17s find out their semi-final opponents



Sligo Rovers U19 and U17 sides have learned their opponents for the semi-finals of their respective national cups.

The U17 team coached by Danny O’Leary, Colm Jinks and Niall Harrison will face Derry City away in the last four in the mark Farren Cup, following their 2-0 quarter-final defeat of Shelbourne on Tuesday.

Derry overcame Dundalk.

The second semi-final will see Waterford take on either Cork City or Shamrock Rovers.

Meanwhile, the Rovers U19 team coached by Brian Dorrian, Raffaele Cretaro and Darragh Healy have been given a home game against UCD in the Enda McGuill Cup.

Bohemians or Cobh Ramblers will face either Drogheda or Dundalk on the other side of the draw.

Rovers were comprehensive 3-0 winners against St Patrick’s Athletic last night, with goals from Gary Higgins, Fintan Borotto and Paul Doyle.
