Harps-Derry game rescheduled for Monday week



The northwest derby between Finn Harps and Derry City has been rescheduled for Monday week, July 24.

The fixture was originally due to be played on a Friday night in June, but was postponed because of Derry’s involvement in the Europa League.

The Monday night re-fixture is likely to affect the attendance for what was due to be one of Harps’ biggest home games of the season.

Meanwhile, Harps’ home game against Cork City, which was due to be played on Friday week in Finn Park, has also been postponed because of the league-leaders’ European commitments, and a new date for that game will be confirmed at a later date.

Harps are home to Bohemians this Friday night.

Tickets are on sale in the usual outlets throughout the county: Michael Murphy Sports, Letterkenny, Balor Theatre, Ballybofey, Kernans, Newtown, The Coachhouse, Donegal Town, McCauley’s Restaurant, Lifford, Macs Newsagents, Buncrana.

Meanwhile, John Walsh, Bray, Co. Wicklow matched all four numbers draw in the Finn Harps Super 4 Lotto draw on Tuesday 11th July.  The numbers drawn were: 9, 10, 15 and 23.  By matching all four numbers John wins for himself €4,600. The jackpot next Tuesday will be €1,000.

There were no jackpot winners in the Finn Harps Super 4 Lotto draw on Tuesday 4th July. The numbers drawn were: 2, 6, 16 an d 24. Next Tuesday’s jackpot will be €4,600. Two people matched three numbers and receive €100 each – J. O’Donnell, Stranorlar and Mary Martin, Ballybofey.

There were no jackpot winners in the Finn Harps Super 4 Lotto draw on Tuesday 27th June. The numbers drawn were: 10, 14, 18 an d 22. Four people matched three numbers and receive €50 each – Breandan Alexander, Killygordon; Bernard Foy, Ballybofey; Enda Hughes, Ballybofey and Hugh Casey, Ballybofey.
