A Donegal Fianna Fail TD says a review of the benefits for seasonal and parttime workers is overdue.
Fianna Fail TD Pat the Cope Gallagher raised the issue in the Dail this week.
Fianna Fail had an amendment down last November but withdrew it to allow the Minister for Agriculture to look at this issue.
However, six months later no review has been carried out.
Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher is calling on the Social Protection Minister Leo Varadkar to take action and he outlines the importance of changing this legislation:
