The footbridge between Rockwood Parade and Stephen Street car park in Sligo town will be named The Bridge of Light.
The name was decided on as part of a collaboration between Sligo County Council, North West Hospice and Comhaltas.
The naming ceremony will take place at 3pm on Saturday, June 3rd.
