The Sligo Wrestling Championship returns to the Great Southern Hotel this evening.
The event which is now in its second year features six bouts as part of a ‘Survivor Series’ with all proceeds going to Stop Suicide. A voluntary body based in Manorhamilton that works to promote positive suicide prevention policies throughout the North West. A raffle will also take place in aid of Glenview Stars Football Club.
The event gets underway at 7pm and tickets will be available at the door.
Organiser of tonight’s event, Councillor Gino O’Boyle explained to Ocean FM the reasons for choosing Stop Suicide as tonight’s beneficiaries.
