Manor Rangers and Boyle Celtic shortlisted for FAI Club award



Sligo-Leitrim league clubs Boyle Celtic and Manor Rangers have both been shortlisted for the FAI Club of the Year award.

The eight nominations were unveiled by the FAI today.

Evergreen FC from Kilkenny, the side that knocked Boyle out of the FAI Junior Cup after penalties at the semi-final stage, are also nominated, as are Tipperary sides Carrick United, Cahir Park and Peake Villa; Portlaoise from Laois; and Carrigaline United from Cork.

The clubs will each receive €1,500 as reward for their nomination and will go forward to the final around at the FAI Festival of Football in Kilkenny in July, where the overall winner will be announced.
