Emlyn Mulligan looks set for another long spell on the sidelines.
The Leitrim attacker has this afternoon tweeted that he has torn the cruciate ligament in his knee for a third time.
It is a huge blow for the Leitrim team preparing to face London away on Sunday week in the quarter-finals of the Connacht Championship.
It is also a big blow for the Melvin Gaels club, with Mulligan only returning at the start of the season to his native club from a stint at St Brigid’s in Dublin.
