Sligo in the driving seat to join Warwickshire in Lory Meagher final

Sligo and Leitrim have set up a winner-takes-all clash in the Lory Meagher Cup next Saturday.

Sligo beat Fermanagh by 5-14 to 2-13 in round four on Saturday, while Warwickshire beat Leitrim by 2-16 to 1-11 in Birmingham.

That means that Warwickshire are through to the Croke Park final, and the Yeats men will join them if they avoid defeat next weekend.

Leitrim can still make Croker if they beat Sligo and Lancashire fail to beat Warwickshire.

Here’s Sligo coach Benny Kenny speaking to Gavin Cawley…
