An Taoiseach Enda Kenny is the special guest at this mornings Charity Cycle



A Charity cycle takes place this morning starting at IT Sligo.

The Sligo – Leitrim 60km Charity Cycle Sportive is in aid of North West Hospice Sligo and Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.

The cycle kicks is kicking off this morning at 10am at IT Sligo and will take participants on a scenic route around Lough Gill, Strandhill, Ransboro, ballisodare, Ballygawley, Ballintogher, Dromahair and Sligo Town with refreshments being served at Moran’s Bar in Ballintogher and at IT Sligo

An Taoiseach Enda Kenny will be the special guest at this mornings charity event and will also be participating in the cycle itself.

Registration for the charity cycle began at 8.30am this morning and will continue until 9.45am with the suggested entrance fee is €20.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, event organiser, Blaine Gaffney, told us why the cycle was put together.
