The school’s first year team will play Ulster champions Scoil Mhuire from Buncrana in Monaghan’s Gortakeegan at 3pm, having won the Connacht final yesterday.
The Sligo side beat Convent of Mercy from Roscommon 1-0 in yesterday’s final in Boyle.
The other semi-final will see Presentation Kilkenny face St Caimin’s from Shannon in Portlaoise next Thursday, with the final set to take place on Wednesday, May 24.
Meanwhile, there was heartbreak for St Clare’s Community School Manorhamilton yesterday, as they lost out in a dramatic penalty shootout to Dublin Oak Academy from Bray in the first year boys national B final in Longford.
It finished 1-1 after extra-time, but the Leinster school won 6-5 after 18 penalties in the shootout.
