Defence Forces wives and partners to stage protest at Finner



When it comes to pay and conditions, those who serve in the Defence Forces have been left on the back shelf for too long.

That’s according to a spokesperson for the Wives and Partners of those in the Defence Forces who are organising a protest outside Finner Camp in Donegal tomorrow, Thursday, at 12 noon.

The WPDF say the Defence Forces is the only sector in the public service that does not have access to the Workplace Relations Commission and the Labour Court.

Because of this, and the fact they cannot protest, WPDF spokesperson in Donegal Frances-Anne Gallagher say they have to give a voice to those who are serving.
