Sligo keep the pressure on leaders Navan after hitting perfect ten

Sligo have set-up a potential winner-takes-all tie against league-leaders Navan next Saturday.

Ross Mannion’s side beat Tullamore by 30 points to nine in Strandhill at the weekend, and now know a bonus point defeat of Navan away from home next weekend will guarantee them the title.

Mark Rooney, Daire Byrne, Graham Kerr, Conor Mitchell and Matthew Davey all went over for Sligo tries in Hamilton Park.

The victory was Sligo’s tenth win in a row, and they are guaranteed to finish at least second in the table.

Tullamore are also through to the play-offs despite Saturday’s reversal.
