Aurivo ready to face Brexit



The head of Aurivo says it has set up a special group to deal with and minimise the impacts of Brexit.

Aaron Forde has been speaking to Ocean FM News following the release of the Co-ops end of Year figures for 2016.

Profits at the Co-op increased by 25% despite a 6% drop in revenue and Mr. Forde says the profit is important so they can reinvest on behalf of their member owners.

He says it was a mixed year with the first increase in milk prices in three years being paid to farmers in July.

However, he says Brexit is one of the key challenges facing the sector and he’s hoping for a tariff free access to the UK market:
