Sligo Rovers and Finn Harps have been paired together in round two of this year’s EA Sports Cup.
The draw was made on Wednesday morning, with the Bit O’ Red set to travel to Ballybofey to take on Ollie Horgan’s side on Easter Monday, April 17, at 8pm.
Harps beat fellow Donegal side Cockhill Celtic 3-1 in the first round of the competition on Monday night, while Rovers were given a ‘bye’ in the opening round.
Harps and Rovers have already met in Finn Park this season, with an injury-time Ciaran O’Connor goal giving the home side the victory in a league tie on the Saturday before last.
Harps also beat Rovers in Finn Park in last season’s league, while the northwest rivals also played out two draws at the Showgrounds.
Elsewhere in the second round, Galway United host Derry City, holders St Patrick’s Athletic face Bray, last year’s beaten finalists Limerick take on Cork City, Waterford play Cobh Ramblers, Dundalk host UCD, Shelbourne play Longford and Dublin rivals Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians have been paired together.
