North West search teams remain involved in 116 mission

Search and rescue teams in the North West remained involved in the search for two missing crewmen of the Rescue 116 helicopter over the weekend.

The wreckage of the Coast Guard helicopter which crashed last month was recovered from the sea yesterday.

The lift was monitored by the Sligo 118 chopper.

The Sligo Bay and Bundoran lifeboats were also out at sea over the weekend continuing the search for 53 year old Paul Ormsby and 38 year old Ciaran Smith.
