Gardai are seeking information after an elderly man in County Donegal was tricked out of a substantial sum of money by a visitor to his home last night.
The caller, in his late 20s, of strong build, and dressd in dark coloured clothing, arrived at the home of the elderly mani n St Colm’s Terrace in Bundoran about 9pm
He tricked his way into the house by pretending he wanted to check something inside the house.
It’s believed he left on foot but there may have been others waiting for him.
Gardai in Ballyshannon are appealing to anyone to who saw anything suspicious or with information that might be useful to contact them.
