A major international Home Economics Conference is taking place in Sligo this week.
The International Federation for Home Economics Conference is being hosted by St. Angela’s College from tomorrow until Saturday.
The Minister of State for Health Promotion Marcella Corcoran-Kennedy will be in attendance on Friday morning along with a number of key note speakers across the three days.
Amanda McCloat is the head of the Home Economics Department at the college.
