Social Welfare Clinic to move from Kinlough to Manorhamilton

Yet another service is being removed from rural parts of North Leitrim according to Kevin Comiskey of the IFA.

Social Welfare Clinics which are held in Kinlough are to be moved to Manorhamilton from the beginning of next month.

The Department of Social Protection confirmed the relocation of the clinic – which provides information and payments to those collecting the supplementary allowance – to the Intreo Centre at Manorhamilton from Monday April 3rd.

The clinics in Dromod and Mohill will also be moving to the Intreo Centre at Carrick on Shannon.

Kevin Comiskey says the move will make it more difficult for people to attend.
