The search for three missing crew members from Coast Guard Rescue 116 is due to resume around now.
There’s fears bad weather could hamper today’s search efforts.
It’s undertstood one of those missing has close family connections to the Killavil and Keash areas of South Sligo.
A black box signal has been detected by the search team, which is helping to pinpoint the location of the suspected crash site off the Mayo coast.
However conditions are too rough to send in divers, and the Coast Guard’s Gerard O’Flynn says the forecast isn’t great:
