LUH one of the most overcrowded hospitals in Ireland today

Hospitals outside of Dublin are the worst hit in terms of overcrowding levels today.

Letterkenny’s figures have spiked again with 34 people on trolleys today making it one of the three worst-affected hospitals along with Cork and Limerick.

Galway University Hospital has 23 people on trolleys today and the figures remains around 10 at Sligo University Hospital.

It appears that the hospitals outside of Dublin are recording higher numbers waiting for admission according to today’s figures from the INMO with five hospitals including Letterkenny having more than thirty patients waiting for beds.
