Leitrim make one change for Wexford tie, as Roscommon name side for Donegal game

Leitrim have made one change to their starting team for Sunday’s Allianz National Football League Division Four tie with Wexford.

Bornacoola’s Damien Moran has come into the team at full forward in place of Keith Beirne.

Moran hit three points after coming off the bench in last weekend’s opening round defeat of Wicklow.

Dean McGovern, who was a late inclusion in the starting team because of the absence through injury of Wayne McKeon, retains his place in the starting side, and is named in midfield alongside Shane Moran.

McKeon misses out once again.

Wexford beat Limerick in their opening round tie last weekend and are one of the favourites for promotion from Division Four this year.

Only one point separated the sides when they clashed in Wexford Park in the league last season, with Leitrim – then managed by Shane Ward – desperately unlucky not to get something from that game.

Sunday’s game throws-in at 2pm in Carrick-on-Shannon’s Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada and there will be regular updates from the match on Ocean FM.
