Leitrim have named seven newcomers in their team for Sunday’s trip to Aughrim to face Wicklow.
Mohill’s Alan Armstrong, Oisin Madden and Keith Beirne are joined by Aughawillan’s Gary and Mark Plunkett, Fenagh/St Caillin’s Ryan O’Rourke and Dubliners Fionn Carney and Brendan Gallagher in Brendan Guckian’s team.
Along with the experienced Emlyn Mulligan, Carney and Gallagher’s inclusion means there are three players that play their club football in Dublin in the starting team.
Matthew Murphy is named at corner-back, having missed large parts of 2016 through injury, while Donal Wrynn captains the team at centre-back, flanked by Madden and Glencar/Manorhamilton’s James Rooney.
Wayne McKeon also makes his intercounty league return on Sunday, and will start at centre-forward.
