A Sligo Leitrim TD has told the Dail that insurance companies are ‘ripping off the Irish people.’
Fianna Fail Deputy Eamon Scanlon made the comment in the Dail yesterday afternoon when he asked for an update on promised legislation in the area.
Taoieach Enda Kenny told him there would be a debate on the issue in the Dail tomorrow, Thursday.
Deputy Scanlon outlined two cases from his constituency, telling Mr Kenny it was an example of what is going on in the real world.
