Seamus Coleman is to receive the Freedom of Donegal.
The honour was approved by all of the members of Donegal County Council yesterday.
At a recent meeting of the Donegal Municipal District Fine Gael Councillor in Ballyshannon Barry O’Neill had proposed that the 28 year-old Killybegs man get a civic reception in light of his achievements.
It’s an honour that the likes of Packie Bonner and Daniel O’Donnell have received.
