Gardai in Leitrim say they have found no link between two recent drug seizures in the Carrigallen area.
140 thousand euro worth of Cannibas was discovered the in Leitrim village earlier this week with another 200 thousand worth of the drug discovered in nearby Aughavas at the beginning of January.
Nobody was arrested following the seizure this week and Local Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information on the discovery to contact them in Carrick on Shannon on 071 9650517
Inspector Dennis Harrington confirmed to Ocean FM that the discoveries came about as a result of ongoing investigations and the help of close relationships with the local community.
