There are 43 people on trolleys at hospitals in the North West today as the overcrowding crisis continues.
The numbers waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital are down to 26 today but they are up to 17 in Sligo.
There are still over 500 people waiting for admission at hospitals around the country according to the figures which are published daily by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
There are 27 people waiting at Galway University Hospital.
