Philomena McGowan, nee Hunter, Clare Road, Claremorris, Co. Mayo and formerly of Bundoran, Mullies and Malin Head, Co. Donegal. Suddenly at her home. Burial in St. Ninnidh’s cemetery, Bundoran at 2pm approximately. House Strictly Private Please.

 

Patrick Flynn, known as Packie, Carrickbanagher, Drumfin, County Sligo, suddenly at his residence. Remains will repose at the Perry Funeral Home, Church View, Collooney, this evening from 5pm until 6.30pm, followed by removal to The Church of The Assumption, Colloooney, to arrive at 7pm. Funeral mass on Friday at 11am, with burial afterwards in St Nathy’s Cemetery.

 

Rita McDonagh, nee Harvey, St. John’s Terrace, Sligo. Peacefully at St. John’s Community Hospital, Sligo. Reposing at St. John’s Hospital Chapel from 4.30pm today. Removal at 6pm to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo. Mass of the resurrection at 11.30am on Friday. Burial follows in Sligo Cemetery. House private please. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to St. John’s Hospital Patient Comfort Fund, c/o Seán Feehily at Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo.

 

Tony Mc Loughlin, Mail Coach House, Mail Coach Road, Sligo and formerly of  Benson Drive, Cranmore, Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital.  Reposing at the Foley & Mc Gowan Funeral Home, Market Yard ,Sligo this  evening from 5:30pm with removal at 7pm   to Sligo Cathedral arriving at 7:30pm.   Mass of the Resurrection on Friday  at  1:30pm with burial  in Sligo Cemetery afterwards.

 

Paddy Duggan, Rahaberna, Drum, Sligo. Peacefully at his home. Reposing at his home today from 5pm until 9pm. Removal to St.Colmcille Church, Rathcormac, on Friday evening arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 11am with burial afterwards in Rathcormac cemetery.

 

Maureen McCormack, Lismintan, Ballintra, Co. Donegal. At the North West Hospice, the Mall, Sligo. Reposing at St. Bridget’s community centre, Ballintra, this evening from 6pm until 7.30pm. Followed by removal to her residence. Removal from there on Saturday morning to St. Bridget’s Church, Ballintra, for 11am funeral mass. Private cremation on Sunday at the Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

 

Mattie Mc Gowan, Coracloon, Kiltyclogher, Co Leitrim. Formerly Newcastle, England. Peacefully at the County Care Home Enniskillen. Removal from the South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen, on Saturday at 12.30pm to arrive at St Patrick’s Church Kiltyclogher for Funeral Mass at 1.30pm. Burial afterwards to adjoining Cemetery.

 

James Crean (pron crane), known as Jimmy. Carrowcrin, Ballygawley and formerly of Carrickbanagher, Drumfin, Co Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Remains will repose at the Perry Funeral Home, Church View Collooney on Friday evening from 5pm to 6:40pm followed by removal to St. paul’s Church, Collooney arriving at 7pm. Funeral service on Saturday at 2pm. Interrment afterwards in the adjoining Churchgrounds.

Sister Gemma Rooney, Marist Convent, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim and late of Mullies, Manorhamilton. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing in the Marist Convent chapel on Friday from 3pm until 6pm. Followed by evening prayer. Removal from the convent chapel to St. Mary’s Parish church, Carrick on Shannon, for mass of the resurrection at 12 noon on Saturday with burial immediately afterwards in the convent cemetery.
