John Gallagher, Drimarone, Letterbarra, and formerly of Crucknagapple, Ardara, Co. Donegal. Peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital. Reposing at his late residence today until 10pm. Removal on Thursday for 1pm funeral mass in the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Drimarone, with interment in the local cemetery. A one-way system will operate at the wake house. Parking at the Church carpark. House private on Thursday please.

 

Kathleen Foley (nee Neilan) Saint Brigid’s Place, Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital in her 95th year. Mother of Marian Rankin, (Manorhamilton) and Kevin Foley (Dromahair). Reposing at the Nazareth House Chapel this evening with removal at 6.15pm to Saint Anne’s Church Sligo to arrive at 7pm. Mass of Christian burial at 11am Thursday followed by burial in Sligo Cemetery.

 

Mary Kate McManus, Derryhooley, Derrylin, Co Fermanagh. Remains reposing at her home until removal this evening at 6.30pm to arrive for 7pm at St Mary’s Church, Teemore.  House private please from five o’clock. Funeral Mass at 12 noon on Thursday followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.  Family flowers only please; donations in lieu if desired to Alzheimer’s Society care of Patrick Blake Funeral Directors, Derrylin.

 

Philomena McGowan, nee Hunter, Clare Road, Claremorris, Co. Mayo and formerly of Bundoran, Mullies and Malin Head, Co. Donegal. Suddenly at her home. Reposing at Gilligan’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Claremorris this evening from 6pm with removal at 8pm to St. Coleman’s Church, Claremorris. Requiem mass on Thursday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Ninnidh’s cemetery, Bundoran at 2pm approximately. House Strictly Private Please.

 

Josephine (Josie) Byrne, (nee McGarry) Cashel Court, Salthill, Co Galway, and formerly of London and Ballintogher, Co Sligo. Funeral will arrive at St Therese’s Church, Ballintogher, Co Sligo, on Thursday for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. Interment in Killery Cemetery, Ballintogher, afterwards. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the North West Hospice, C/o Foley & McGowan Funeral Directors, Market Yard, Sligo.

 

Kathleen McCafferty, Leagaulton, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. Suddenly. Reposing at her late residence. Remains going to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon, on Thursday morning for 12 o clock funeral Mass, with burial afterward in the Abbey Cemetery. House private on the morning of the funeral please.

 

Michael O’Donnell, 62 Marlborough Street, Derry.  Ocean FM presenter.  Funeral from his home on Thursday at 9.30am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral.  Interment afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to Foyle Hospice, 61 Cuilmore Road, Derry, or Sperrin Room, c/o Friends of Altnagelvin, Trust Headquarters, Altanagelvin Hospital, Glenshane Road, Derry.

 

Patrick Flynn, known as Packie, Carrickbanagher, Drumfin, County Sligo, suddenly at his residence. Remains will repose at the Perry Funeral Home, Church View, Collooney, on Thursday evening from 5pm until 6.30pm, followed by removal to The Church Of The Assumption, Colloooney, to arrive at 7pm. Funeral mass on Friday at 11am, with burial afterwards in St Nathy’s Cemetery.

 

Rita McDonagh, Nee Harvey, St. John’s Terrace, Sligo. Peacefully at St. John’s Community Hospital, Sligo. Reposing at St. John’s Hospital Chapel from 4.30pm on Thursday. Removal at 6pm to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo. Mass of the resurrection at 11.30am on Friday. Burial follows in Sligo Cemetery. House private please, Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to St. John’s Hospital patient Comfort Fund c/o Seán Feehily at Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo.
