Sod-turning for new €8.4m water treatment plant this week



The sod-turning for a new €8.4 million water treatment plant for North Leitrim will take place this Friday.

The plant which is located at Moneyduff, near Dromahair will benefit 9,000 people on the North Leitrim Regional Water Supply Scheme.

The project is being undertaken by Irish Water in partnership with Leitrim County Council.

Work on the plant is expected to be completed in about a year.
