John Oliver Battell, (known as Ollie) Lancashire, England and formerly of Ardnaglass, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Peacefully following a long illness. Funeral arriving this evening at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote at 7pm via Ireland West Airport Knock. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12noon, followed by burial in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Ballymote. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu if desired, to Macmillan Cancer Support, care of any family member.
Gerry Wynne, Timpaun, Lough Allen, Arigna, Co.Roscommon. Son of Johnny and Bridgie Wynne, Lough Allen. At Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at his late residence today until 11pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Arigna arriving for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday at 11am with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery Afterwards. House Private Please.
