56 people waiting for hospital beds in North West



The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says record numbers are on trolleys at hospitals across the country today.

Fifty-six people are on trolleys in the North West alone with 33 people waiting for a bed at Letterkenny University Hospital and 23 people waiting at Sligo University Hospital.

The INMO says 621 people are waiting around the country with University Hospital Limerick the worst affected.
