Early morning frost is thawing in many areas in the north west but motorists are still advised to be careful on the roads.
Road conditions were and remain icy around Letterkenny in Donegal with Gardai reporting possible black ice on the N13 Ballybofey Rd as well as Letterkenny/ Fintown Rd.
Gardai across the region say frost has thawed in many areas but to watch out for black ice in places.
