John Mullen, Glasgow, Scotland, and formerly of Kiernan Avenue, Collooney, County Sligo. Peacefully at his residence. Husband of Kathleen, son of Annie and the late Raymond Mullen, and brother of Christopher, Steven, Caroline and Andrew. Removal from his residence this evening to St. Roch’s Church, Royston Road, Glasgow arriving at 6pm. Funeral mass on Friday at 12 noon with funeral proceeding afterwards to Lambhill Cemetery, Balmore Road, Glasgow. A memorial mass will be offered up in The Church of the Assumption, Collooney, on Saturday, January 7th at 12 noon.

 

Eamonn Gallagher, Bayview Terrace, Mountcharles, County Donegal. Peacefully. Remains will be reposing at Gallagher’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles today with rosary at 9pm. Removal from there on Friday to The Church Of The Sacred Heart, Mountcharles, for 11am funeral mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

 

Mary McCaffrey, Glenboy, Manorhamilton, County Leitrim. Peacefully at Our Lady’s Hospital. Reposing at the home of her daughter Deirdre, Foxfield, Manorhamilton, today until 9pm. Removal to St Clare’s Church, Manorhamilton, on Friday morning to arrive for funeral mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

Annie Corrigan, Gortermoan, Florencecourt, Belcoo, County Fermanagh. At the South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen. Removal from her residence this evening to St. Lasir’s Church, Wheathill, Florencecourt, arriving at 8pm. Funeral mass on Friday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in Killesher Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations to a charity of your choice.

 

Bobby Roemer, ‘Sherwood House’, Carraroe, County Sligo. Aged 15 years. Reposing at his home at Carraroe from 4pm to 8pm on Friday. Home private at all other times. Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Saturday in St. John’s Church, Carraroe. Burial follows in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo.

 

Esther Power, nee McCaffrey. 7 Allingham Court, Bundoran, County Donegal. Reposing at her late residence until removal on Friday morning at 10.30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon, for mass at 11am. Followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

 

Philomena O’Brien, nee McGrath, Cloonslanor, Strokestown, County Roscommon, and formerly of Rathrippon, Collooney, County Sligo. At the Roscommon University Hospital. Wife of Tom O’Brien, mother of Vincent, Letterkenny; Jacqueline Walsh, Galway and Stephanie Shields, Strokestown. Reposing at her home, on Friday from 3pm until 8pm. Removal to Strokestown Parish Church on Saturday to arrive for funeral mass at 11.30am, with burial afterwards in Strokestown Cemetery.

 

Anne (Nancy) Mullaghan, nee McCormack. Heatherview, Tonaphubble Lane, Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at the Foley & McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Friday from 5.30pm with removal at 7pm to Sligo Cathedral, arriving at 7.30pm. Mass Of The Resurrection on Saturday at 11.30am with burial in Sligo Cemetery afterwards.

 

Kathleen (Kay) O’Grady, Nee Maguire, Knocknarea Villas, Sligo. Peacefully at Mowlam Nursing Home. Reposing at her residence on Friday from 2pm to 5.30pm with removal at 6pm to Sligo Cathedral, arriving at 6.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection at 1.30pm on Saturday with funeral proceeding to St Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, afterwards. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the Alzheimer’s Daycare Centre, Dunally, care of Foley & McGowan Funeral Directors.
