South Donegal roads: A lot done, more to do, says Cllr Campbell



A lot done but more to do when it comes to roads in South Donegal.

That’s the belief of independent Councillor John Campbell who says less than 5% of the work that is needed is getting done.

He says this is down to a lack of funding being provided for the roads budget in South Donegal.

All road works allocated funding were completed in the Donegal municipal district in 2016 including the repair of the Four Masters bridge in Ballyshannon and fixing flood damaged surfaces across the south of the county.

Councillor Campbell praised the work of the roads department but says the budget just isn’t enough to get everything done:
