Sligo All-Stars cup semi-final to take place on January 7

EJ’s Sligo All-Stars’ national cup semi-final has been confirmed for Saturday, January 7, in Cork.

The Sligo side will face Team Kilkenny in the last four tie at Neptune Stadium at 2pm, looking for a place in the President’s Cup final.

The other semi-final involving hosts Neptune and Laois side Kestrels will take place on Friday evening at 6.30pm.

The final will take place at the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght on the last weekend in January.

The All-Stars have beaten Dublin sides Tolka Rovers and Dublin Lions so far in this year’s competition.

This weekend, the All-Stars host reigning Division One champions Maree in the league at the Mercy Sports Centre at 7.30pm.

The game will be live on Ocean FM in association with Kelly & MacGowan Solicitors, Sligo, with current Irish international and former All-Stars player Aoife McDermott joining Darragh Cox in the commentary booth.
