Michael “Mikie” Golden, Sheffield, England and formerly of Drumacoo, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon.  Brother of Breege O’Dowd, Rathmadder, Gurteen.  Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

 

Margaretta (Etta) Hunter, nee Greer. Tully, Strandhill, Co. Sligo. Peacefully at Summerville Healthcare, Strandhill. House private please. Reposing at Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo, from 12.30pm on Thursday. Removal at 1.30pm on Thursday to St. John’s Cathedral Sligo arriving for Funeral Service at 2pm. Burial follows in St. Anne’s Churchyard, Strandhill, Co.Sligo. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Dunally Alzheimers Day Care centre c/o Sean Feehily, Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo.

 

John Fox, Treacy Avenue , Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at the Nazareth house chapel this evening with liturgy of prayer at 7pm. Removal from the Nazareth House chapel at 11am Thursday to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Sligo to arrive for Mass of Christian burial at 11.30. Burial to follow in Sligo cemetery. House private please.

 

Agnes Tonry, Drumfin, Riverstown, Co Sligo. Peacefully at North West Hospice Sligo. Remains reposing at Perry’s funeral home, Ballymote, this evening from 6pm to 7.30pm, with removal afterwards to The Church of the Immaculate Conception Ballymote arriving at 8 o clock. Funeral mass will take place on Thursday at 11am, with burial afterwards in St Columbas cemetery Ballymote.
Tony Toher, Upper Rosses, Rosses Point, Co Sligo and formerly of Tohers The Chemist, O’Connell Street, Sligo. Peacefully at Mowlam Nursing home. Reposing at the Foley & Mc Gowan  Funeral  home, Market Yard, this evening  from until 8pm. Cremation will take Place in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin, on Thursday at 1:30pm. House private please. Family flowers only please , donations in lieu if desired to the North West Hospice, C/o Foley & Mc Gowan Funeral Home, Market Yard , Sligo. As a mark of respect to the late Tony Toher, Tohers the Chemist will be closed untill 10:15am on Thursday morning.

 

John Joseph Mooney, London and formerly Birmingham, husband of the late Maureen Mooney (nee Melly) Charles Street, Sligo. Reposing at the Nazareth House Chapel, Church Street, Sligo from 5pm Sunday with liturgy of prayer at 6pm. Removal from Nazareth House Chapel at 11am Monday to the Cathedral of the Immaculate conception to arrive for Mass of Christian burial at 11:30am. Burial to follow in Sligo Cemetery.

 

Paddy McCaffrey, Carrowkeel, Rossinver, County Leitrim. Tragically due to an accident. Late of 21 Rockdaniel Road, Carrickmacross, County Monaghan. Husband of Helen Dowdican, Corbeg, Tullaghan, County Leitrim. Reposing at his residence on Thursday from 12 noon until 9pm. Arriving at St Aidan’s Church, Ballaghameehan on Friday morning for 11am funeral mass. Burial afterwards in Rossinver Cemetery. House private at all other times. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Mountain Rescue, care of McGloin Undertakers.

 

Tommy Duffy, Rinnatruffane, Geevagh, Co. Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at Shivnan’s funeral home, Ballyfarnon, on Thursday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Geevagh, arriving at 7.30pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Corrig Cemetery

Martin McManus, Masseytown, Macroom, Co. Cork and late of Martin Savage Terrace, Sligo and Ballina in Mayo. Removal from the Fitzgerald’s Funeral Home tomorrow Thursday evening at 8pm to St. Coleman’s Church Macroom. Funeral on Friday after 2:30pm requiem mass to St. Coleman’s cemetery in Macroom.
