New traffic lights in Manorhamilton to be turned on in mid-December



The new traffic lights in Manorhamilton will be up and running in mid-December despite opposition to them by many including businesses in the town.

Local businesses in Manorhamilton are still very concerned about new traffic lights being installed in the centre of the town.

After much controversy, Leitrim County Council has confirmed that they will be turned on by mid-December at a cost of €90,000.

Some businesses fear it could even put them out of business due to the reduction of parking spaces on streets like Sean MacDiarmada street.
