Saturday 15 Hole Club Stableford
Saturday’s 15 hole was played in changeable conditions but despite this, some excellent scores were returned.
David Lindsay took first place with an excellent score of 35 points for 15 holes. David scored a total of eleven pars over the course of his round with seven on the front nine and the remaining four on the back six as well as sinking a birdie putt on the par five fifth hole to ensure he signed for a score of 35 points and first place.
Second place was taken by Declan Rooney with a score of 34 points. Declan scored a total of eight pars over his round with six on the front nine and the remaining two on the back nine as well as adding birdies on the first and eleventh holes to complete his round with 34 points.
Third place was taken by Robbie Henneberry with a score of 32 points. Robbie scored a total of four pars with one on the front nine and the remaining three on the back six as well as adding four birdies on the second, fifth, eighth and eleventh holes on his way to securing third place with a score of 32 points.

Strandhill Lodge & Suites Winter League – Week 3
The third round of the Strandhill Lodge & Suites sponsored Winter League got off to a slow start on Sunday morning as a heavy frost meant a late start for the competitors. Play got underway shortly before 11am and some very interesting results were thrown up.

Outgoing Senior Captain, Bill Cashell would like to thank his committee and all of the people who helped make his year as Senior Captain a success. He would also like to thank everyone who attended the Captain’s Dinner last Wednesday night.
Captain’s Dinner
Captain Pat McManus Captain’s Dinner will take place this coming Friday night at 8pm in the clubhouse. Tickets cost €20 per person and are available from the bar or from any men’s committee member.

Men’s Branch Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting for the Men’s Branch will take place on Wednesday November 30th in the clubhouse at 8pm sharp. We would ask that all male members please attend.
Nominations for Officers and Ordinary Members of the Men’s Club must be submitted in writing, with the names of a proposer and seconder, to the Honorary Secretary of the Men’s Club not less than 7 days prior to the date of the particular Annual General Meeting.
Motions to be voted upon at the Annual General Meeting of the Men’s Club must be submitted in writing, with the names of a proposer and seconder, to the Honorary Secretary not less than 7days prior to the date of the particular Annual General Meeting.
