Sligo’s Kevin Devaney signs new deal at Galway United

Sligo’s Kevin Devaney has agreed a new deal with Galway United.

He becomes one of Shane Keegan’s first squad additions, after the former Wexford Youths manager took charge at Eamon Deacy Park.

The Calry native scored seven goals in 27 appearances for the club in the season just finished and was named the club’s player of the year.

He had previously won the player of the season award at Bohemians, before an injury-plagued year with Sligo Rovers in 2015.

Devaney also counts Finn Harps as one of his former clubs.
