A Leitrim Councillor is calling for a longterm solution to problems as a result of an inadequate public sewerage system in Rossinver.
Fine Gael Councillor Sean McDermott raised the issue at a meeting in Manorhamilton this week.
He got support for his calls to upgrade the system which has been causing problems for years.
A spokesperson for the Council said the system had not yet been taken over by Irish Water but the Council is carrying out desludging work as a short-term solution.
