Parents can avail of two new vaccines for babies from next week.
The Minister for Health Simon Harris has confirmed today that the Men-B and Rotavirus vaccinations will be available from their family doctor from 1st December.
It follows consultation between the Irish Medical Organisation, the Department of Health and the HSE.
All babies born on, or after, the 1st October 2016 will receive vaccines for Men B and the Rotavirus disease in addition to the other childhood vaccines currently given.
