Sligo’s Nicole Fowley retains her place in Irish Rugby team for Canada test

Sligo’s Nicole Fowley (pictured above centre) has retained her place in the Irish Rugby team for Saturday’s second November International against Canada.

Fowley made her Irish debut at outside centre in last weekend’s narrow defeat to England in their series opener.

She will continue to partner Sene Naoupu for Saturday’s match, with the back three also remaining unchanged.

There is a new half-back partnership however, as Donegal pair Larissa Muldoon and Nora Stapleton drop out of the starting 15.

Mary Healy and Nikki Caughey come in, with Muldoon named among the replacements.

There are nine changes in personnel in total, with only captain Paula Fitzpatrick remaining in the pack.

There are debuts for Nichola Fryday and Anna Caplice.

Saturday’s game is at 2pm in the UCD Bowl.
