Concern over new sewerage scheme in Gleann Cholm Cille



There are concerns in Gleann Cholm Cille in County Donegal that the area to be serviced by a new sewerage scheme has been reduced by at least 30%.

The cutback is a major blow to the Gleann Cholm Cille Folk Village, a major visitor attraction along the Wild Atlantic Way.

The village will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year and has already benefitted from a major make-over supported by Failte Ireland.

Margaret Cunningham, of the Folk Village, tells Ocean FM News there are fears that the Folk Village at the Glenbay end of the locality and two housing estates on the Ardara Road will will be excluded:
