There is good news for patients in county Donegal as Rheumatology clinics are to be re-instated at Letterkenny University hospital.The services were removed from the hospital in 2011 and over 300 patients across Donegal were having to travel to Manorhamilton for treatment.
It is expected the service will be back up and running by the end of this month.Donegal Fianna Fail TD Charlie McConalogue had it confirmed to him following a dail question that the appointment of a third rheumatologist for the North West region a number of weeks ago will see the clinic restored.
