McConalogue says fur farmers will be compensated
Cabinet has approved a ban on fur farming to take effect from early next year. It will mean the closure of three mink farms in Laois, Kerry and Donegal, housing some 120,000 animals. Covid testing at mink farms
Covid-19 testing is being rolled out at three mink farms in the Republic as part of enhanced surveillance by the Department of Agriculture.
