The death has occurred of Reverend Father John Joseph Murtagh
Diocese of Yakima, Washington, United States and formerly of Tullinaglug, Tourlestrane, Co. Sligo, peacefully.
Predeceased by his parents James and Margaret (Brennan) Murtagh and his brother Reverend Father Patrick Murtagh. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his brothers Francis (Cloonacool), Charlie (Ballivor, Co. Meath), Denis (Brighton, UK) and Brendan (Tullinaglug), sisters Angela Hannafin (London, UK) and Catherine Brennan (Tullinaglug), sisters-in-law Monica, Kathleen, Sadie and Ann, brother-in-law Willie, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he Rest in Peace
Reposing at Coen’s Funeral Home, The Square, Tubbercurry on Sunday from 4pm until 6pm with removal to St. Attracta’s Church, Tourlestrane, arriving for prayers at 7pm. Concelebrated Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 12 noon with burial thereafter in the church grounds. Mass will be live streamed on Coen’s Funeral Directors Facebook page.
