The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) Shannon
12 Moyvale Lawn, Sligo Road, Ballina, Co. Mayo and formerly of Cartron Point, Sligo and Derrylin, Co Fermanagh.
Predeceased by his loving wife Mary, Sisters Philomena, Eileen and Betty. Brothers Jack Joe & Brian.
Mick will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, Daughters Elizabeth Yates (Leicestershire), Bernie O Donnell (Enniscrone) & Dolores O Boyle (Ardagh). Sons Michael (Drumcliff Co. Sligo) and Joe (Drumcliff Co. Sligo). Daughter in Law Marie sons in law Robert, Neil, Donald and Harold. Mick’s 15 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Sisters Sis (Enniskillen), Rosie and Biddy Coventry England, nieces, nephews, cousins and his many traditional music friends.
Mick will repose at his home, 12 Moyvale Lawn Sligo Road, Ballina, Co. Mayo (F26R8K7) on Tuesday 17th January from 3pm -8pm.
Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday 18th January at 12.30pm in the Church of the Assumption, Brackloonagh, Ardagh, Co. Mayo, F26 A003.
Burial afterwards in Lisheen Cemetery.
