Uisce Éireann has issued a reminder to it’s customers in Leitrim to be mindful of their water usage and allow supply to catch up with demand and enable reservoirs to fully replenish in the aftermath of storm Darragh.
In a statement Uisce Éireann say they have been working to address supply interruptions to customers across the County following last weekend’s storm.
While normal supply has returned to the majority of customers across the county, they are urging customers to be mindful of their water usage.
The statement claims that a small number of customers on higher ground or at the end of the network may continue to have some supply disruptions while reservoir levels recover.
They have confirmed that Localised restrictions will remain in place in parts of Leitrim over the coming days from 9pm – 7am nightly.
Alternative water supplies remain in place at a number of locations including the Drumshanbo Food Hub.
