Donegal budget meeting adjourned over commercial rates



Donegal County Council’s budget meeting was adjourned yesterday following the failure to accept a proposed increase in commercial rates.

 

A rise of almost five percent was rejected unanimously by the councillors.

 

The budget allocates fund to be used within the county on developments such as housing, roads, and major tourism projects.
